EIS were engaged to develop a new power distribution centre to provide the power source and house the motor controllers for the mine.
EIS designed and developed a portable power distributioncentre and switchroom which was assembled and fitted out inInvercargill before being transportedto the mine.Based on a high-level brief of Oceana Gold’s operating requirements for a transportable skid-mounted power distribution centre, EIS designed structural engineering and electrical plans for the unit which after client review was fabricated and fitted out.
