Wind Tunnel – Problem Solving Process

Insol Ltd | Southland, New Zealand

A client desired to design and install the largest wind tunnel in the Southern Hemisphere.  They had a basic design.

EIS gave them an estimate to adhere to the design.  The client agreed to this problem-solving model and after initially investing $2.5k for concept design EIS were able to reduce the initial cost by $100k.

For a further $2.5k the client invested in the next stage of detailed design modelling.  This stage proved the maths behind the concept design and reduced the cost a further $50k.
